To get folks pumped for new Old Spice lavender and mint body wash, W+K hired our help to spread the word the best way possible — through an explosive hunting game. Big Lavender Game is a first-person arcade shooter that fuses fast-paced mechanics and comical storytelling, set within the beautifully bizarre Old Spice universe. You play Tevin, the game’s hero, on his last mission to trap lavender and mint around the world. The story is told through glorious illustrations and cut-out animations that tie each ludicrous level together, making for a cinematic sequence worthy of a full motion picture.

With an over-the-top, throwback first-person shooter game. Together with Wieden & Kennedy, we created the Old Spice Lavender Hunter Game, complete with beautifully bizarre video cut scenes starring the animated character Tev, the world’s best lavender trapper. Players have to travel the world to shoot lavender across three ludicrous levels, effectively harvesting sprigs to fill up the Old Spice bottles and stock the Walmart shelves. Putting together a tenacious team, we took care of the illustrations, animation, editing and game development while blasting through an insane deadline.
